	San Benedetto in Alpe, Acquacheta                            Dante, Inferno, Canto XVI, 94-105 Καθώς το ποτάμι εκείνο, που πηγάζει πρώτα από το Όρος Βέσο προς την ανατολή στην αριστερή πλαγιά των Απεννίνων, που λέγεται Ακουακέτα ψηλά, πριν να βυθιστεί προς την κοιλάδα όπου ‘εχει την κοίτη του και στο Φορλί δεν έχει πια το όνομα αυτό, βροντά με θόρυβο από τα βοσκοτόπια πέφτοντας μονομιάς εκεί, πάνω από το Σάν Μπενεντέτο όπου θα πρέπει να δέχεται νερό από χίλιους χείμαρρους, έτσι προς τα κάτω από ένα γκρεμό βρήκαμε το σκούρο του νερό να θορυβεί έτσι ώστε σύντομα θα πόναγαν τα αυτιά.
	Come quel fiume c’ha proprio cammino prima da Monte Veso inver levante, dalla sinistra costa d’Appennino, che si chiama Acquacheta suso, avante che si divalli giù nel basso letto, e a Forlì di quel nome è vacante, rimbomba là sovra San Benedetto dell’Alpe per cadere ad una scesa ove dovrìa per mille esser recetto; così, giù d’una ripa discoscesa, trovammo risonar quell’acqua tinta, sì che ’n poc’ora avrìa l’orecchia offesa. ~~~ That river, that springs first from Monte Veso to the east, on the left slope of the Apennine, is called Acquacheta up high, before it sinks valleyward into its low bed, and at Forli no longer has that name, reverberates there near San Benedetto falling from the Alpe with a single leap fed perhaps by a thousand torrents; thus, down from a precipitous bank we found that dark water resounding, so that it would have shortly hurt the ears. ~~~
